Time alongside a berth — the denominator of the UNCTAD/World Bank waiting rate.
STATUS: WITHDRAWN · SINCE 1970-01 · RETURNS WHEN THE CONDITION BELOW IS MET
WINDOW-CLIPPED. Berth durations are floored by the length of the archive, not measured: 34% of berth hours sit in stops reading the full archive length, where a genuine container call runs 12-48h. Inflates the figure and so deflates the waiting rate. Usable once the archive is long relative to a call. We will not serve data we cannot stand behind, so this page stays up but the numbers do not.
More on the practice: withdrawn data.
We watched it happen: our own AIS receivers (via the aisstream.io terrestrial network), our timestamps, our archive.
